Fiordaliso publishing house dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. From its inception, we have followed inch by inch the birth and development of scouting in Italy with several publications spreading the understanding of Baden-Powell all through Italy, supporting leaders in their educational work and providing technical handbooks to boys and girls from 8 to 21 to help them live the “great adventure”. Adventure, play, love for nature, awareness of social problems, specialised skills and competences…. Essays, technical manuals, pocket books, spiritual paths, posters and postcards, calendars…. Fiordaliso trade books are inspired to a huge resource of knowledge, experiences and feelings distinctive of the scout method but although we essentially work for a vocational setting, our books apply to a larger public and to all who are pragmatically engaged in the education of young people.
