Orbit is a leading publisher of Science Fiction and Fantasy, with imprints in the UK, US and Australia. We publish across the spectrum of Science Fiction and Fantasy - from action-packed urban fantasy to widescreen space opera; from sweeping epic adventures to near-future thrillers.
Established in 1974, Orbit UK is the British publisher of many of the biggest names in modern SF, such as Iain M. Banks, Ken Macleod and Charles Stross. Our fantasy authors include international bestsellers Terry Brooks, Trudi Canavan, Robert Jordan and Tad Williams, as well as many new stars of the genre, such as R. Scott Bakker, Karen Miller, Brian Ruckley and K.J. Parker. Over recent years, we have also built an acclaimed list of urban fantasy fiction, with authors such as Kelley Armstrong, Mike Carey and Laurell K. Hamilton.
